Constantly relapsing gambling addict, Junky John Wohlfeil, has drummed with Kill Allen Wrench from day 1. Having had originally met Allen Wrench at the Slots Of Fun casino in Las Vegas, NV. The 2 found immediate similarities between each of their uncontrollable passion for gambling, as well as groupies, pornography, hard drug and alcoholism.
During the early 1990s Junky John's musical career almost came to a deadly end. While fighting for his county during operation DESERT STORM, Sgt. Wohlfeil's special forces team was ambushed and captured by elite Iraqi ground troops during and important mine disarmament mission. Iraqi officers organized their U.S. prisoners. Thinking Sgt. Wohlfeil had been blinded, they had played him minimal attention. That was their only and last mistake! Taking Sgt. Wohlfeil's lead, the special forces team were able to fight their way out using only their bare hand and latrine toiletries.
They escaped certain death and signaled and air recon unit for pick up. Although Sgt. John Wohlfeil was not awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor, many top military generals consider him to be a true American hero.
